Former aspirant for the governorship seat in Adamawa state,  Nuhu Ribadu, has announced the handing over his campaign structure to the re-election campaign of President Muhammadu Buhari.


The pioneer chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had contested for the governorship ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State in October 2018. 


He however lost the ticket to incumbent Governor Mohammed Jibrilla Bindow.

Where was the announcement made? 


Ribadu announced the handing over of his campaign structure on Monday afternoon at his Yola campaign office which has been re-branded as Buhari/Osinbanjo for Continuity 2019

What does Ribadu’s campaign structure entail?


The campaign structures donated by Ribadu include offices, vehicles and other items.

He similarly unveiled 10 branded Sienna cars similarly branded, which he disclosed were cars donated for his own campaign but which would now be used for a ward-to-ward campaign for Buhari’s re-election.

Why is Ribadu handing over his campaign structure? 


Ribadu who is also Director of Field Operations for the  Buhari Campaign Organisation noted that he is donating his structures due to the desirable change Buhari’s government has ushered in Adamawa state. 


“We have seen what is fair and what is just in the Buhari government and we will work hard to ensure the continuation of such quality leadership. We have never had it so good,” he said.

Ribadu also noted that Adamawa state has benefitted immensely from the Buhari-led administration citing road construction and linkage among others.
