Billionaire business tycoon, Femi Otedola has reportedly accepted to carry the flag of the PDP in Lagos for the 2019 Governorship elections.
In a news that left many surprised, Dele Momodu, a popular journalist and socialist tweeted about Otedola’s acceptance to enter the political fray.
Momodu’s tweet read;

Otedola is one of Nigeria and Africa’s richest men, and owner of Petroleum Company, Forte Oil. He is also a son of a former Lagos State Governor, Michael Otedola.
Reports of the billionaire’s possible interest in politics were fuelled when he boarded a local Lagos bus, known as Danfo. The video trended on Twitter and other social media.
Otedola will be vying directly against the eventual candidate of the APC in Lagos State.
