Lagos state Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode has endorsed the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu for the governorship seat in the state.

Where did he make the endorsement?

Ambode declared his endorsement on Monday at the party secretariat in Ikeja while assuring party members of his unalloyed support for the APC Governorship candidate.

What does the endorsement mean?

The endorsement has effectively quelled speculations that Ambode would work against the party’s gubernatorial candidate in the state.

However Ambode, while endorsing Sanwo-Olu, implored the aggrieved members to sheathe their sword and work for the party in the forthcoming elections.

Tinubu’s message to party members

The national leader of APC, Bola Tinubu, urged members to intensify their campaign to ensure inclusion of the atleast three million electorate which represents 50 percent of registered voters in the electoral process.

Tinubu charged the party members to remind the electorate of their sixteen years of suffering under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) administration.

The National leader also described the era of PDP as that of failed promises while the APC has been a game changer since it took on the reins of power.
