Barely a day after losing the governorship primaries to Jide Sanwo-Olu, Lagosians have trooped into streets to start tearing down posters of the incumbent governor.
Voters went out en masse on Tuesday to vote Ambode out as the candidate of the ruling party, APC in the state.
Some of the areas where Ambode’s posters were seen to be ripped apart are the Roundabout at Indian Language School, Ilupeju and the Third Mainland Bridge. According to an eye witness, his signposts were also seen to be painted on the Third Mainland Bridge.
This is coming on the heels of Ambode’s landslide loss to Sanwo-Olu at the primaries and may be a show of dissatisfaction of Lagosians with his governance.
