Meet Mojisola Alli-Macaulay who is fondly known as ‘Mama Amuwo’. She is contesting for a seat at the Lagos State House of Assembly under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a member representing Amuwo Odofin Constituency 1.

The House of Assembly candidate kicked off her campaign on 15th of November, where she promised effective representation of her constituents.
What is Mojisola’s mission and vision for Amuwo Odofin Constituency 1?
Mojisola, a veteran broadcast-journalist, a budding lawyer, and an astute politician believes “the subsisting and almost peculiar challenge for us as a people today is locating good and visionary leadership that can take us out of underdevelopment which has ravaged us for a good number of years. Hence, our palpable excitement and resonant applause when we find men of welfarist vision & mission”.
She said her mission as a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly is to consolidate on the current gains towards bringing comfort and hope to the people of Amuwo Odofin.
According to Mojisola, her visions as a house member are to build a legacy of sustainable progress for youths of her constituency to secure, support educational reforms, women/widows empowerment, child education & social support, all-inclusive and accessible policy, move motions/bills to improve lives and welfare of all and sundry and also lobby progressive gains for Amuwo Odofin.
Brief bio of Hon. Mojisola
Mojisola is a graduate of History and International Relations from the Lagos State University and currently a 400lv student of Law at the University of Lagos. She has vast experience in Media, Journalism and Marketing having held several leadership positions in top media outfit. She was a pioneer staff of MITV/Star Fm and was also the Senior Marketing Executive at TVC Communications. She is married with kids and well known for her love for children in Lagos State.
