Nigerian musician, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido and his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke.

The People s Democratic Party, PDP has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to order the unfreezing of the bank accounts of Nurudeen Adeleke and music star, David Adeleke a.k.a Davido.

In a statement released by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, it described the actions of the EFCC as flammable and bad enough to steer a crisis.

The party called on Buhari to order the EFCC to do the needful as its actions were a perfect “recipe for a crisis.”

The PDP did not spare President Buhari, tagging his government a ‘vicious’ and ‘tyrannical’ one.

In his statement, he said; “The freezing of the Adelekes’ accounts by an agency of the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led Federal Government, a week to the governorship election, underscores the fact that APC is mortally afraid of our candidate and has been seeking ways to undermine his electoral fortunes”.

“Such savage attack on innocent citizens confirms the viciousness of the Buhari-led APC administration to use any means whatsoever to subjugate Nigerians and appropriate power to itself at all cost,” it added.

“Moreover, the people of Osun state are completely behind Senator Adeleke and will freely vote for him irrespective of the machinations of the Buhari-Ied APC.”

Davido is one of Nurudeen Adeleke’s nephews.

Adeleke, currently a Senator representing Osun West Senatorial District is scheduled to vie for the state’s Governorship position against Gboyega Oyetola of the APC.
