Businessman and industrialist, Shina Peller has won the All Progressives Congress candidacy to represent Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency of Oyo State.

Shina Peller polled 915 votes to emerge victorious in the contest. Other participants in the primaries were Iya Afin Funke who had 1 vote, Mr. Olaleru who had 24 votes, and Yakub Adeyemi Olaaje with 57 votes.

Peller, who owns Nigeria’s biggest nightclub and one of Africa’s most rated, Quilox hails from Iseyin.

A graduate of Chemical Engineering from  Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, he also owns a Masters degree in Business Management from the same university.

Shina Peller’s father, Professor Moshood Peller was a famous magician from Iseyin during his lifetime.

The philanthropist, Shina also owns a company, Aquilla where he is into oil and gas, building and construction and other interests. He also owns a record label where his younger brother, and musician, Que Peller is signed on to.

He also owns a foundation for the blind and handicapped where he helps them to live better lives.

He is expected to fly the APC’s flag in the 2019 elections at his constituency.
